Payment Methods

VPNLands only accepts the following payment methods: Paypal, Visa, Masercard, AMEX, Western Unions and Webmoney. Unfortunately, anonymous payment methods, such as: Bitcoin are not accepted. We encourage VPN providers to offer anonymous payments as an option due to the fact that they are more secure and “anonymous”, which is the main point of using a VPN service; to stay anonymous and secure online.

Free Trial & Refund Policy

Unlike many VPN providers, VPNLand does not offer a free trial. VPN seekers are more inclined towards VPNs with free trials because it gives more transparency and reassurance to customers since they get to evaluate the service before committing to any of its premium plans.

As for the refund policy, it is very precise. You are only entitled to a refund within the first 7 days of purchase if the service does not work provided that you present proof. Here is an excerpt from their website:

“We do NOT offer any refund for slow or non-working p2p programs. [...] Refunds are granted only if the service does not work. Valid proof (such as a screenshot with an error number and description) must be provided. [...] All refund requests must be filled within 7 days from the date of an account activation. Refunds are issued within 10 business days.”

Privacy Policy

VPNLand has one of the most clear and transparent privacy policies. They know exactly what concerns the any VPN user: the logging policy and the privacy of their personal data. As for the logging policy, VPNLand does not keep logs nor does the company monitor online activities of its users as mentioned on their website:

“We do not spy on our users and we don’t monitor their Internet usage. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that an end user is involved in criminal activities, we reserve the right to notify law enforcement agencies.”

As for personal data, VPNLand is a Canadian-based provider which means that it falls under Canadian jurisdiction since Canada is part of the Five Eyes Alliance. VPNLand keeps records of certain personal data as stated on their privacy policy page:

“We Collect Personal Information that is provided by Site users. “Personal Information” includes your name, address, telephone number, credit or debit card information, e-mail address, date of birth, IP address and the last four digits of your Credit Card number. Personal Information is collected when you establish an account with us, place an order on the Site, participate in a contest, sweepstakes or on-line survey, or when you communicate with any of our departments such as customer service, sales or technical services through the Site, telephone, mail or fax.”

VPNLand Features

In this section, we will discuss the different features provided by VPNLand, such as: security levels, encryption protocols, server network, bandwidth, platform compatibility, etc.

Security & Encryption

VPNLand very commonly used encryption protocols and security levels by most mediocre VPN service providers, such as: PPTP, OpenVPN, SSTP and L2TP/IPsec. We find this list of protocols a bit mundane and average compared to the prices offered by VPNLand.

Server Network

VPNLand has a total of 264 servers spread across 13 main locations, including: USA, UK, FRANCE, CANADA, TURKEY, KOREA, HONG KONG, GERMANY and more.

Platform Compatibility

VPNLand supports a variety of platforms, such as: Windows, iOS, Mac OS, Android, Linux, Blackberry and DDWRT routers. This means that it can be used on desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets and routers.

Support

You can reach VPNLand on more than one channel. They offer live chat support, however, we were not impressed with the service we received when we tried communicating with them. We were slammed with an automated response that had no relation to the question we asked. You can also leave a message and receive a reply to your inquiry. There is a also an F.A.Q section, but it is not very informative either. In addition, they are available on Facebook, Twitter, Skype and Google+.
