PPTP

Android is the the most popular and most reliable operating system for smartphones today. It was developed by Google back in 2003 and so far released 8 generations starting from the first generation which was known as the Android Gingerbread all the way to the latest Android Oreo which was released recently. The most popular generation was the 7th generation or the Android Nougat. The Android system has its own built in security measures, however, when it comes to online privacy, online security, and online freedom, that is a different story. The online risks and online surveillance are increasing each day and this is why users have prioritized the use of a virtual private network or VPN service. One of the most commonly used security protocol by VPN service provider is the Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol or PPTP. Even though PPTP is not considered the most secure protocol compared to other protocols used yet it is very widely used by VPN providers among other protocols. There are 2 ways to secure your Android Nougat device with a VPN’s PPTP connection. You can either download the VPN application with the PPTP protocol built in it or you can manually configure a PPTP connection on your device itself. In this tutorial we will show you how to manually setup a VPN’s PPTP connection directly in your Android Nougat device.
