In this tutorial, we will show you how to setup PPTP on any Sabai router via simple and very easy steps. As a result, your network will be both secure and private. In addition, you will have the ability to bypass any geo-restrictions and get access to geo-blocked content on the internet.

Set Things Up

Before configuring PPTP on your Sabai router, first you will need to set things up:

1- You need an internet connection that works properly.

2- Make sure that your Sabai router supports  PPTP protocol.

3- Make sure that your VPN service subscription is active (e.g: bVPN).

Access Your Sabai Router

Next, you need to access your Sabai router’s homepage to be able to start your configuration process by following these steps:

1- Connect to the internet, and then launch your web browser.

2- Enter your router’s IP address in order to access the admin’s web page.

3- Now, type in your router’s username and password.

Configure PPTP VPN on Sabai Router

Now that you have accessed your Sabai router’s admin page, let’s start our PPTP VPN configuration process. All you need to do is to follow these steps:

1- Head over to the top left corner and go to Network.

2- Choose PPTP.

3- Next, you will need to type in your VPN server address.

4- In this step, type in your VPN credentials in the specified fields (your VPN username and password).

5- Once done, tick the checkbox next to Require MMPE-128.

6- Hit the Save button to save the changes you have made.

7- Click on Reboot in order to set your router’s VPN settings.

8- Click on Start button to be able to launch your VPN connection.

7- You should now be connected to the PPTP VPN server you have chosen through your router.
