Set Things Up

Before configuring OpenVPN on your Sabai router, first you will need to set things up:

1- You need an internet connection that works properly.

2- Make sure that your Sabai router supports  OpenVPN.

3- Make sure that your VPN service subscription is active (e.g: bVPN).

Access Your Sabai Router

Next, you need to access your Sabai router’s homepage to be able to start your configuration process by following these steps:

1- Connect to the internet, and then launch your web browser.

2- Enter your router’s IP address in order to access the admin’s web page.

3- Now, type in your router’s username and password.

Configure OpenVPN on Sabai Router

Now that you have accessed your Sabai router’s admin page, let’s start our OpenVPN configuration process. All you need to do is to follow these steps:

1- Head over to the top left corner and go to Network.

2- Choose OpenVPN.

3- Next, you will need to import your VPN server configuration files. You can do this by hitting the Choose File button.

4- Wait for a few moments until the import process is complete, and then click on Show File followed by a click on the Edit button.

5- In this step, type in your VPN credentials in the specified fields (your VPN username and password).

6- Click on Start.

7- You should now be connected to the VPN server you have chosen through your router.
