Express said they did not have a solution to flash/connect to Arris and protect the server traffic. Also, they did remind me to clear cache in every browser and forget old passwords when clearing the cache, as those can be used to pinpoint from sever back to device. I was still getting some tracking advertisements and couldn’t figure out why.

Sorry for taking so long to respond…had some emergency medical issues. Express VPN and Arris have not given me any solutions to this issue. Since have added a smart TV but now it has no VPN protection. Guess this leaves me wide open. Good luck.

My SBG7400AC does not have a setting in WAN settings to enable PPTP, only a checkbox for DHCP.
