BartVPN does not keep traffic logs, which means that none of your online activities are tracked or monitored. However, the company keeps some records of your personal and computer data for technical and security reasons as stated on their privacy policy page:

BartVPN Features

In this section, we will go through the features provided by BartVPN, such as: server network, bandwidth, encryption protocols, security levels, etc.

Security & Encryption

BartVPN boasts about their advanced security levels on their website “We cooperate with Norton Security, McAfee Secure and other experts”. BartVPN relies on 128 bit up to 256 bit encryption to support OpenVPN tunneling protocol only. OpenVPN is known to be the strongest tunneling protocol so far and the most secure. That was true until several ISPs have been able to track it down and block it, such as the case in Egypt, for example. That is why leading VPN service providers (e.g: bVPN) have been able to to invent more advanced encryption technologies to cloak their OpenVPN with other strong encryption protocol such as Smoke Tunnel or OpenVPN over SSH.

Servers and Bandwidth

BartVPN offers over 170 IP addresses through 11 servers branched across 9 important locations, including: USA, UK, GERMANY, ROMANIA, NETHERLANDS, UKRAINE, TURKEY, RUSSIA and more.

We think that the number of servers provided by BartVPN is shockingly small and mundane compared to their expensive subscription plans.

As for bandwidth, the company offers unlimited bandwidth on all plans without restrictions or speed throttling.

Platform Compatibility

Similarly to their server network, BartVPN fails to impress when it comes to its compatibility with other platforms. The software app is only compatible with Windows, Linux, Android (certain plans), iOS and Mac OS X.

Support

A customer support service is a mirror to any VPN service and a clear sign of how dedicated and trusted the VPN provider is. BartVPN is quite impressive in this department. Although they do not provide live chat support, but they are active and responsive on their forums. You can also contact the support team through an email ticketing system. For self-assistance, you can navigate through their FAQ section. We checked their blog section, but it was not working.
